Description

Scientific Name: Neritina sp

Zebra Nerite Snail (Neritina natalensis) is a popular freshwater aquarium snail known for its striking black and gold zebra-like stripes. They are excellent algae eaters and help keep aquariums clean by grazing on algae from glass, rocks, and decorations without harming plants.

These snails are peaceful and compatible with most community fish and shrimp. They will not reproduce in freshwater, making them a great choice for aquarists who want algae control without snail overpopulation.
