The Rubberlip Pleco is a popular freshwater algae-eating catfish known for its thick, rubbery lips and peaceful temperament. Native to fast-flowing rivers in South America, this pleco is valued for its ability to help control algae while remaining relatively small compared to common plecos.

Behavior: Rubberlip Plecos spend most of their time attached to rocks, driftwood, or aquarium glass while grazing on algae and biofilm. They prefer well-oxygenated aquariums with moderate water flow and plenty of hiding places like rocks and caves.
