Description

Scientific Name: Trigonostigma Espei

The Red Slender Harlequin Rasbora, also known as the Espei Rasbora, is a small and colorful schooling fish prized for its bright orange body and distinctive black triangular marking along the side. Native to Southeast Asia, these rasboras are ideal for planted aquariums and peaceful community tanks.

Espei Rasboras thrive when kept in groups of at least 6–10 individuals. In schools they display beautiful synchronized swimming and become more confident. They prefer aquariums with plants, driftwood, and gentle filtration that mimic the slow-moving streams of their natural habitat.

These fish are peaceful and make excellent tank mates for other small fish such as tetras, gouramis, danios, shrimp, and snails. Their vibrant coloration and active schooling behavior make them a popular choice for nano and community aquariums.
