The Red Lizard Whiptail Catfish is an elegant, long-bodied freshwater catfish with a reddish hue and distinctive whiptail. It’s peaceful, bottom-dwelling, and adds a dramatic visual element to community aquariums.

Care Requirements:

• Tank size: Minimum 55 gallons due to its length and active swimming behavior.
• Temperature: 75–82°F (24–28°C)
• pH: 6.5–7.5
• Diet: Omnivorous; prefers sinking pellets, algae wafers, and occasional live/frozen foods.
• Behavior: Peaceful, active, and social with other non-aggressive fish; enjoys well-oxygenated water and hiding spots.

We ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via USPS Priority Mail. Once we get your order, we will ship it within 1 to 5 business days. For the safety of the animals, we do not ship aquatic life on Thursday and Friday. We do not want live aquatic animals sitting in USPS warehouse over the weekend. Thank you for your understanding.
