The Red Head Diamond Angelfish is a beautiful freshwater aquarium fish known for its bright red head and shimmering diamond-like body. It is a selectively bred variety of the species Pterophyllum scalare and is admired for its vibrant color contrast and elegant fins.

Appearance: Bright red or orange head with a shiny silver body that reflects light like diamonds, along with long flowing fins that give it a graceful appearance.

Size: Can grow up to about 6 inches (15 cm) long and appears taller because of its fins.

Tank Requirements: Freshwater aquarium with a temperature of 75–82°F (24–28°C). Recommended tank size is at least 20–30 gallons with plants and calm water.

Temperament: Generally peaceful but may become slightly territorial. Best kept with peaceful community fish such as tetras, corydoras, and gouramis.

Diet: Eats flakes, pellets, and frozen or live foods such as bloodworms and brine shrimp.
