A highly sought-after freshwater shrimp known for its striking red and white banded pattern. Popular among aquascapers, these shrimp add bold contrast and elegance to planted tanks.

Water Parameters:

Temp: 68–74°F (prefer cooler water)

pH: 5.8–6.8

KH: Low (0–2)

GH: 4–6

Behavior: Peaceful, active grazer—best kept in species or shrimp-dedicated tanks.

Diet: Biofilm, algae, high-quality shrimp food, blanched vegetables

Tank Setup:

• Soft, slightly acidic water (RO/DI recommended)
• Active substrate (shrimp soil preferred)
• Moss and dense plants
• Stable, mature tank (very important)

Notes:

• More sensitive than Neocaridina varieties Color grading ranges from low to high (SSS grade, etc.)
• Do not mix with Neocaridina (different requirements)
• Requires stable parameters—avoid sudden changes
