Scientific Name: Caridina (Pinto/Tiger hybrid)

Appearance:

These shrimp feature a rich red base color decorated with distinct white spotting and patches. Some individuals display galaxy-style speckling, while others show larger, more defined spots—each shrimp has a unique and eye-catching pattern.

Tank Requirements:

  • Tank Size: 10+ gallons
  • Temperature: 68–74°F
  • pH: 5.5–6.8
  • GH: 4–6, KH: 0–1
  • Water: Soft, slightly acidic, and very stable (RO/DI recommended)

 

Diet:

  • Biofilm, algae, and microorganisms
  • Supplement with high-quality shrimp food, mineral supplements, and blanched vegetables

 

Behavior & Compatibility:

  • Peaceful and active
  • Best kept in groups (6+)
  • Ideal for species-only tanks
  • Avoid mixing with Neocaridina or other Caridina lines if maintaining pattern quality

We ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via USPS Priority Mail. Once we get your order, we will ship it within 1 to 5 business days. For the safety of the animals, we do not ship aquatic life on Thursday and Friday. We do not want live aquatic animals sitting in USPS warehouse over the weekend. Thank you for your understanding.

Any orders placed before 12:00 PM on Tuesday will be shipped out that same week. orders placed after 12:00 PM on Tuesday will now be processed the following week
