Pearl Galaxy Medaka Ricefish (Oryzias latipes) are a small ornamental strain of Japanese ricefish known for their pearl-like speckled pattern and subtle iridescent shine. They are hardy, peaceful fish that adapt well to a wide range of water conditions, making them great for beginner and experienced aquarists.

They do best in small groups and thrive in planted aquariums or outdoor tubs. Pearl Galaxy Medaka are active swimmers and can also breed readily in aquariums, often laying eggs on plants or spawning mops.
