Medaka Koi Ricefish (Oryzias latipes) are a popular ornamental strain of Japanese ricefish featuring orange, white, and sometimes red patterns similar to koi. Their bright colors and hardy nature make them a favorite for nano aquariums and outdoor ponds.

These peaceful fish do best in groups and thrive in planted aquariums with gentle filtration. They are easy to care for and may breed readily, often laying eggs on plants or spawning mops.
