The Licorice Gourami is a small and beautifully patterned freshwater fish known for its slender body and striking black and white markings with hints of red or blue in the fins. Native to the blackwater swamps and peat forests of Southeast Asia, this species is highly prized by aquarists who specialize in nano or blackwater aquariums.
