Overview:

A striking surface-dwelling fish with a metallic gold body and bold black markings. Very active and known for its strong jumping ability.

Diet:

Carnivorous—feeds on insects, small fish, frozen foods, and will accept pellets.

Behavior:

Semi-aggressive and predatory. Will eat smaller fish and shrimp. Best with similar-sized tankmates.

• Keep tank covered—they jump
• Provide floating plants for security
• Avoid small tankmates
