A rare and attractive African catfish known for its bluish sheen and active personality. Belongs to the Synodontis family, often called upside-down catfish

Temperament:

Semi-aggressive

Can be territorial with other bottom dwellers but usually fine in larger community setups

• Plenty of hiding places (rocks, caves, wood)
• Dim lighting preferred

Compatibility:

• Works with medium to large fish
• Avoid very small fish (may get eaten)
• Avoid overly aggressive tankmates

Breeding:

Very rare in home aquariums; mostly wild-caught or limited captive breeding
