8 Amano Shrimp Large

The Amano Shrimp is one of the most popular freshwater shrimp used for algae control in aquariums. Known for their translucent bodies with rows of small dots along their sides, these shrimp are excellent algae eaters and are commonly used in planted tanks to help keep surfaces clean.

Behavior: Amano Shrimp spend most of their time grazing on algae and leftover food from plants, rocks, and aquarium glass. They are very active scavengers and do best when kept in small groups, making them a great addition to community and planted aquariums.
