Marigold Swordtail (Xiphophorus hellerii)

The Marigold Swordtail is a vibrant freshwater fish known for its bright golden-orange coloration and the signature elongated “sword” tail seen in males. It adds bold color and constant movement to any aquarium.

Tank Setup:

Prefers a planted aquarium with open swimming space. Moderate water flow and stable conditions are ideal. A lid is recommended as they may jump.

Behavior:

Active swimmers that occupy mid to upper levels of the tank. Males may show mild aggression toward each other, so provide enough space and keep proper ratios.

Guaranteed to arrive alive you have one hour of delivery to report any death. You must take a picture while the fish is dead in the bag before it’s opened.
