Green Swordtail (Xiphophorus hellerii)

The Green Swordtail is a classic and natural-looking variety known for its olive-green body, subtle iridescence, and the long “sword” extension on males. It’s hardy, active, and a great addition to community aquariums.

Tank Setup:

Best kept in a planted aquarium with plenty of open swimming space. Moderate flow and stable water conditions are ideal. A lid is recommended, as they can jump.

Behavior:

Very active swimmers that stay near the middle and top of the tank. Males may show mild aggression toward each other, so provide space and maintain a proper ratio.

Guaranteed to arrive alive you have one hour of delivery to report any death. You must take a picture while the fish is dead in the bag before it’s opened.
