Overview:

Green Terror Cichlids (Andinoacara rivulatus) are bold, colorful South American cichlids known for their metallic green-blue shimmer and striking orange-edged fins (in mature males). Sold as a group of 3, they are best suited for experienced aquarists due to their size and aggression.

8–12 inches

Tank Size:

75+ gallons (125+ recommended for multiple)

Temperament:

Semi-aggressive to aggressive (especially as they mature)

Diet:

Omnivore – cichlid pellets, frozen foods, occasional live foods

Water Parameters:

• Temperature: 72–79°F
• pH: 6.5–7.5
• Moderate hardness

Care Notes:

• Aggression increases with age—monitor group dynamics
• Provide plenty of space, rocks, and territories
• Best kept with other robust tank mates
• May dig and rearrange substrate and decor
• Strong filtration required due to size and waste

Coloration:

Juveniles are more subdued, but adults develop vibrant metallic green/blue bodies with orange or white edging on fins and intricate facial markings

Guaranteed to arrive alive you have one hour of delivery to report any death. You must take a picture while the fish is dead in the bag before it’s opened.
