Overview:

The Bandit Cory is a small, peaceful bottom-dwelling catfish known for its distinctive black “bandit mask” across the eyes. It’s an active schooling fish that thrives in groups and is perfect for community aquariums.

20 gallons minimum (best in groups of 5–6+)

Temperament:

Peaceful, social

Excellent community fish

Diet:

Omnivore

Eats sinking pellets, wafers, frozen foods (bloodworms, brine shrimp), and leftover food

Water Parameters:

Temperature: 72–79°F

pH: 6.0–7.5

Soft to moderately hard water

Behavior & Notes:

Very active and playful, especially in groups

Constantly sifts through substrate for food

Needs to be kept in schools to reduce stress

Sensitive to poor water quality

Soft sand substrate (protects barbels)

Plants, driftwood, and hiding spots

Well-oxygenated, clean water

Guaranteed to arrive alive you have one hour of delivery to report any death. You must take a picture while the fish is dead in the bag before it’s opened.
