Rasbora

Rasboras are small, peaceful freshwater fish that are popular in planted aquariums and community tanks. Known for their schooling behavior and vibrant colors, Rasboras bring constant movement and activity to aquariums. Many species are beginner-friendly and adapt well to stable aquarium conditions.

These fish thrive when kept in groups of at least 6–8 individuals, which allows them to display natural schooling behavior and reduces stress. Rasboras prefer aquariums with plants, open swimming space, and gentle filtration that mimics their natural slow-moving streams.

Common species include Harlequin Rasboras, Lambchop Rasboras, Chili Rasboras, and Galaxy Rasboras. Their peaceful temperament makes them excellent tank mates for other small community fish, shrimp, and snails.
