Overview:

Guppies (Poecilia reticulata) and Endlers (Poecilia wingei) are small, vibrant livebearers known for their constant activity and striking colors. They are beginner-friendly and perfect for community aquariums.

Tank Size:10+ gallons (larger for groups)

Temperament:Peaceful, active schooling fish

Diet:Omnivore – flakes, micro pellets, frozen & live foods

Water Parameters:

  • Temperature: 72–82°F
  • pH: 6.5–8.0
  • Moderate hardness preferred

Care Notes:

  • Best kept in groups (males for color, or mixed with caution)
  • Breed very easily—population grows fast
  • Enjoy planted tanks with open swimming space
  • Compatible with most peaceful community fish
