Longfin Zebra Danios should be kept in schools of at least 6 or more. They thrive in aquariums with open swimming space and moderate water flow. Their elongated fins make them more visually striking, but they should be housed with peaceful tankmates to avoid fin-nipping.

They feed readily on flakes, micro pellets, and small live or frozen foods such as daphnia, brine shrimp, and bloodworms. A varied diet ensures vibrant coloration and healthy growth.
