The Hillstream Loach, also known as the Chinese Butterfly Pleco, is a unique freshwater algae eater recognized for its flat, ray-like body and large wing-like fins. Adapted to fast-flowing streams, these fish use their suction-like bodies to cling to rocks and surfaces while grazing on algae and biofilm.

Behavior: Hillstream Loaches spend most of their time attached to rocks, glass, and decorations where they graze on algae. They prefer well-oxygenated water with good flow and plenty of smooth rocks for grazing.
