Hillstream Loach (Beaufortia kweichowensis), often called the Chinese Butterfly Pleco, is a unique freshwater fish with a flat, round body that resembles a small stingray. Their body shape allows them to cling to rocks in fast-flowing water using a suction-cup like underside.

These peaceful bottom dwellers prefer aquariums with strong water flow, high oxygen levels, and smooth rocks where they can graze on algae and biofilm. They do best in well-established tanks that mimic their natural river habitats.
