Overview:

A brightly colored annual killifish with vibrant gold, red, and blue tones. Short-lived but highly rewarding to keep and breed.

Tank Requirements:

• 5–10+ gallons
• Temp: 72–75°F
• pH: 6.0–7.5
• Soft substrate (peat/sand) for breeding

Diet:

Carnivorous—live or frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. Rarely accept dry food.

Behavior:

Peaceful but males can be aggressive toward each other. Best kept as pairs or 1 male with multiple females.

Pro Tips:

• Keep lid tight—they can jump
• Provide spawning substrate (peat moss)
• Expect short lifespan—part of their natural cycle
