Scientific Name: Boraras urophthalmoides
The Exclamation Point Rasbora is a tiny and peaceful nano fish known for the distinctive black marking near its tail that resembles an exclamation mark. Native to slow-moving waters in Southeast Asia, these small rasboras are perfect for nano aquariums and planted tanks.
Because of their small size and shy nature, Exclamation Point Rasboras do best in groups of at least 8–10 individuals. In larger schools they feel more secure and display natural schooling behavior. Heavily planted aquariums with gentle filtration help recreate their natural habitat.
These rasboras are ideal tank mates for other small peaceful fish, shrimp, and snails. Their bright coloration and active swimming make them a beautiful addition to nano community aquariums.
