The Calico Bushynose Pleco is a colorful variation of the popular bristlenose pleco, known for its beautiful mix of orange, brown, black, and cream marbled patterns. This hardy algae-eating catfish is a favorite among aquarists because it stays relatively small and helps keep aquariums clean.

Behavior: Calico Bushynose Plecos spend much of their time grazing on algae from glass, rocks, and driftwood. Males develop the characteristic bushy bristles on their nose, while females usually have few or none. They prefer aquariums with driftwood, caves, and hiding places and are most active during the evening and nighttime.
