Tank Requirements:

Minimum 5–10 gallons

Fully aquatic—no land required

Low flow (they are weak swimmers)

Diet:

Carnivore—frozen foods (bloodworms, brine shrimp), sinking pellets

Often needs target feeding

Tank Mates:

Best with small, peaceful fish (tetras, rasboras)

Avoid aggressive or fast eaters

Safe with shrimp (may eat very small ones)

Notes:

Must surface regularly to breathe air

Poor eyesight—relies on smell

Can be social—best kept in small groups

Guaranteed to arrive alive you have one hour of delivery to report any death. You must take a picture while the fish is dead in the bag before it’s opened.
