The Apistogramma borellii “Paraguai” is a beautiful and relatively peaceful dwarf cichlid known for its shimmering blue body with yellow highlights. Native to Paraguay and southern Brazil, this species is popular among aquarists because it is hardy, colorful, and well suited for planted community aquariums.

Behavior: Borellii Paraguay Apistogrammas prefer aquariums with plants, driftwood, leaf litter, and caves. Males display brighter blue coloration and longer fins, while females remain smaller and guard eggs and fry in caves during breeding.
